Suitability always depends on your individual skin. The formula includes skin-conditioning ingredients such as chondroitin sulphate, glucosamine, collagen and B-group vitamins, but even gentle-sounding ingredients can cause a reaction in some people. If your skin is sensitive, try a small amount on a small spot first — the inside of the forearm or behind the knee works well — and wait a day or two to see how your skin reacts. If redness, itching, stinging or any other irritation appears, stop using the cream.
This product is for external use only. Avoid the eye area, and do not apply it to open wounds, rashes or broken skin. The product description specifically advises stopping use if irritation or an allergy appears. If you have a chronic skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking medication, check with a specialist before using any new cosmetic.
Also keep in mind that a body cream is not a substitute for professional advice about joint or muscle complaints. If an area is painful, swollen or stiff for more than a few days, or if massage with the cream does not change anything, consult a doctor rather than continuing to use more product.
