Ginseng extract is a botanical ingredient that is generally well tolerated, but people with very reactive or allergy‑prone skin should perform a patch test before full use. Apply a small amount of the cream on the inside of the wrist or behind the ear and wait 24 hours for any redness, itching or swelling. If no reaction occurs, you can proceed with regular application. Avoid the eye area, as the skin there is thinner and more sensitive. If you notice any irritation after use—such as persistent redness, stinging or a rash—stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist. The cream is not formulated with fragrances or preservatives that are known to trigger sensitivities, but individual reactions can still happen. For those with eczema or rosacea, it is advisable to use the product sparingly, perhaps every other day, and monitor how the skin responds.
