The base uses glycerin for hydration and mineral oil (Paraffinum Liquidum) to create a light protective film that slows water loss without heavy occlusion. Calendula officinalis extract is included for its long tradition in cosmetic products for delicate, weather-exposed skin — it is valued for its soothing, skin-friendly character and for helping the skin feel more settled.

Even with a mild profile, individual reactions vary. If your skin is very reactive or you are applying the cream to compromised areas (such as after a peel, on broken skin, or during a flare-up), test a small amount on the inner forearm first and wait 24 hours.
