Is this body milk suitable for sensitive skin, and should I patch test it first?

The formula contains botanical ingredients — strawberry extract, coconut oil and jojoba oil — and it belongs to the fruit-scented category of body care, so fragrance is part of the experience. For most people this is unproblematic, but if your skin is very sensitive, or you know you react to fragranced products or plant extracts, a patch test is a sensible precaution before full use.

A simple way to do it: apply a small amount to a discreet area such as the inner forearm, and wait 24–48 hours. If no redness, itching or irritation appears, the product is likely to be well tolerated on larger areas. If you do notice a reaction, stop using it.

A few additional points worth knowing:

  • Strawberry extract contains natural salicylates and vitamin C — mild, common cosmetic components, but relevant information if you have known sensitivities to these compound families.
  • Jojoba oil is generally considered one of the gentler conditioning ingredients because its structure resembles the skin's own sebum.
  • This is a cosmetic care product for hydration and comfort — it is not intended to treat skin conditions, so if you have an ongoing skin concern such as eczema or dermatitis, it is best to check with a specialist before adding new fragranced products to your routine.

Keep it away from the eyes, and use it externally only.
