Is this balm greasy or sticky after application, and how long does it take to absorb?

The balm texture is denser than a light cream. This means it forms a protective layer to reduce moisture loss. It is not inherently greasy, but using too much can leave a heavier feel.

For a less noticeable finish, use a small amount (a pea-sized dab for both hands) and massage it thoroughly into the skin, nails and cuticles. This helps it absorb. On well-hydrated skin, it absorbs within a few minutes. On very dry, rough areas like knuckles, it may take longer to sink in completely, leaving a subtle film that continues to work.

For everyday use, applying it after washing hands or in the evening gives it time to absorb without inconvenience. If you need to use your hands immediately, apply a minimal amount.
