Is this a proper moisturiser or mainly a decorative product with glitter?

It is genuinely both, which is the point of the format. The base is a body milk built around coconut oil and vitamin E: coconut oil is rich in fatty acids that help reduce the feeling of dryness and leave the skin surface more supple and silky, while vitamin E is a well-known antioxidant that helps protect the skin from external stress factors. So on days without an event, it still functions as a light after-shower body lotion.

The shimmer particles are the purely cosmetic layer on top of that. They do not change the skin itself — they sit lightly on the surface and reflect light, which creates the immediate metallic "cosmic glow" finish. That effect washes off; the softer feel from the emollient base is what remains as ongoing care.

Two things to keep in mind when deciding if it can be your everyday body product:

• The texture is lighter than a rich body cream, so if your skin is very dry (for example in winter), you may still want a heavier cream for rough zones like elbows, knees and shins, and use this milk where you want the glow.
• Because every application includes shimmer, it is best suited to people who are happy with a visible finish daily — there is no shimmer-free version of the same layer.
