The resin is thick and sticky at room temperature, which is normal for authentic shilajit. To handle it easily: pinch off a portion roughly the size of a grain of rice using a clean, dry utensil like a toothpick or small spoon. Let it drop directly into a cup of warm (not boiling) water or milk. The heat will help it dissolve within a minute. Avoid trying to swallow it directly as it will stick to your teeth.
Compared to capsules, the resin has no fillers or excipients and retains the full matrix of fulvic acid and minerals in its traditional form. Keep the jar tightly closed and stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. If the resin becomes too firm, briefly placing the closed jar in warm water will soften it.
