Is the English rose fragrance strong or likely to irritate sensitive skin?

The fragrance is described as a classic English rose note: floral, rounded, and not sharp or synthetic-smelling. It's intended to give the shower a pleasant aromatic character without dominating the bathroom or clashing with other scented products you might use afterward (deodorant, body lotion, perfume). However, fragrance — whether natural or synthetic — remains one of the most common cosmetic allergens. The formula does contain fragrance (parfum) as part of the "Pink Mood" profile. If you have a known fragrance allergy, reactive skin, or conditions like eczema or contact dermatitis, it's safer to choose a fragrance-free wash. For everyone else, the scent level is moderate: noticeable while showering, faint on skin after rinsing. The brand advises avoiding the eye area and discontinuing use if irritation or sensitivity appears. A patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before full-body use is a sensible precaution if you're unsure.
