SHIK Laste seep is a classic bar soap made from sodium salts of fats and vegetable oils. That means it cleans by lifting dirt and grease from the skin and rinsing away with water. The formula also includes glycerin, which attracts water to the skin surface and helps reduce the tight, dry feeling that plain soap can leave behind, plus a component described as children's cream for a softer, more emollient feel during washing, and citric acid to help balance the formula.
For a child with normal skin, this kind of bar is a straightforward choice for hand washing and body washing. But "gentle" is not the same as "suitable for every skin type." If the skin is very dry, reactive, or prone to irritation, the sensible approach is to try it and watch how the skin responds. If you see redness, itching, flaking, or a feeling of tightness after washing, stop using it and choose a milder cleanser. A patch test on a small area, such as the inside of the forearm, can help you judge before using it all over the body.
This is a cleansing product, not a treatment for any skin condition. If a child has a diagnosed skin problem such as eczema or is under the care of a dermatologist, ask the specialist before introducing a new soap. Also avoid contact with the eyes; if soap gets into the eyes, rinse with clean water.
