Is it safe to use with dental crowns or other restorations?

The calcium carbonate in the powder is a mild abrasive that works well on natural enamel but may be too harsh for certain soft restorative materials such as composite fillings or temporary crowns. If you have visible crowns, bridges, or veneers, use the powder very gently — apply an extremely small amount, brush for no more than 30 seconds, and avoid scrubbing directly on the restoration.

After brushing, rinse thoroughly and inspect the restoration for any signs of surface roughness or discoloration. If you notice any change in the look or feel of the restoration, stop using the powder on that area and consult your dentist for guidance.

Because the product contains herbal extracts and essential oils, there is a small chance of staining if the powder is left on a restoration for an extended period. Therefore, it is best to limit contact time and ensure that the powder is completely rinsed away.

Overall, the powder can be used with restorations when caution is exercised, but it is not specifically formulated for them. If you are unsure, a dentist can advise whether the abrasive level is appropriate for your specific dental work.
