Is it normal for the oil to be solid when I first open the jar?

Yes, this is completely normal and expected. The oil in this product is 100% pure Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, which is solid at cooler room temperatures. When you warm it slightly in your hands or place the jar in a bowl of warm water, it will melt into a liquid oil. This physical change is a natural property of coconut oil and does not mean the product has spoiled or is of lower quality. Simply scoop out the amount you need with clean, dry fingers and let your body heat melt it for application. This solid state also makes it easier to control portions compared to a runny oil.

Store the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality. If it becomes liquid in warmer weather, it will solidify again when temperatures drop.
