The formula contains sebum-balancing and purifying cosmetic ingredients such as the ac.net™ complex, which includes oleanolic acid and nordihydroguaiaretic acid, plus tea tree oil. These are commonly used in skincare for skin prone to excess oil and clogged pores. It also contains glycerin, which helps hold water in the upper layers of the skin, so the toner is not only focused on an astringent feel.
If your skin is very sensitive, easily reddened or already dry, use more caution. The toner contains alcohol-type and cooling-feel components such as menthol and menthyl lactate, as well as essential oil and fragrance components, which can feel too strong for some complexions.
