Its surfactant cleansing base helps lift away surface oil, daily impurities and residue from products such as sunscreen, then rinses off with water. This makes it a good option if richer cleansers or heavy skincare leave your face feeling coated, particularly in warm weather or after exercise.
The formula contains salicylic acid, an oil-soluble ingredient often used in products for congested-looking skin because it can work well around oily pore areas. It also contains glycerin, which helps reduce the tight feeling that can follow cleansing, plus tea tree oil and plant extracts such as lemon balm, lavender, calendula and Bidens tripartita for a fresher after-wash feel.
