This soap contains added fragrance, so it is not automatically the right choice for everyone. If you know you are sensitive to perfumes or easily irritated by cleansing products, it is best to use it cautiously. A patch test is a simple first step: apply a small amount of lather to a limited area, for example the inner forearm, rinse it off, and watch for any redness, itching or irritation over the next day. If no reaction appears, the soap is more likely to be fine for your handwashing or shower routine.
For small children or anyone with very reactive skin, the same patch test is a reasonable precaution. If the skin feels dry after washing, switch to a milder fragrance-free wash at least part of the time and use a moisturizer afterwards. This soap is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any skin condition, and it does not replace medical care for persistent irritation or chronic skin problems. If you have a known condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking medication, consult a specialist before introducing a new fragranced product into your routine.
