I have sensitive skin that often reacts to tapes. Is this product suitable for me?

The Redrings tape is made with a silk-like backing and zinc oxide adhesive, which are generally chosen for being relatively mild compared to harsher adhesives, but skin sensitivity varies greatly from person to person. The most sensible approach is to perform a patch test: apply a small piece to a non-critical area of your forearm and leave it on for the duration you intend to use it. Check for any redness, itching, or irritation upon removal. This specific tape is breathable, which helps reduce dampness—a common factor in skin irritation under tapes. However, if you have a known allergy to zinc oxide or any components of surgical tapes, or if your skin is currently broken or strongly irritated, it is best to avoid using it. For longer wear, monitor the skin periodically and replace the tape if it gets wet or starts to lose its hold, as movement of loose tape can cause friction.
