I have sensitive skin or allergies. Is this soap safe for me?

This soap contains fragrance, herbal extracts, and bee-derived ingredients, so it is not the best choice for everyone. The product guidance specifically advises that if your skin is very sensitive or reactive to fragrance, herbal extracts, or bee ingredients, patch testing is a sensible first step. It also says to avoid contact with eyes.

Before using it all over, do a patch test:

  1. Apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm.
  2. Leave it for 10–20 minutes, then rinse.
  3. Watch the area for a few hours (or up to 24 hours) for redness, itching, or burning.

If anything appears, do not use the product on larger areas. This is especially important because the formula includes bee bread, honey, propolis, wax, flower pollen, and flower nectar, plus a long list of herbal infusions (sweet clover, heather, St. John's wort, linden blossom, chamomile, sage, thyme, plantain, mallow, licorice root, and soapwort).

If you have a known allergy to bee products or to any of these plants, this soap is likely not suitable. If you have a chronic skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are on medication, consult a specialist before use. This product is a cosmetic cleanser, not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
