I have sensitive skin — can I use this mask safely?

If your skin is reactive, do a patch test before the first full-face application. Apply a small amount to the jawline or inner forearm, leave for 15–20 minutes, rinse, and wait 24 hours. If no redness, itching, burning, or bumps appear, it's likely safe for you to use on the face.

The formula contains snail secretion filtrate, which is generally well-tolerated, but any cosmetic can trigger sensitivity in some people. The mask is a rinse-off product, which limits exposure time compared to leave-on creams — that's an advantage for sensitive types. Still, avoid the eye area entirely, and don't apply to broken skin, active cold sores, or areas with dermatitis.

If you feel stinging that doesn't fade within a minute, rinse immediately. Persistent redness, swelling, or itching after rinsing means you should discontinue use. People with known allergies to mollusks or shellfish should be cautious — while the filtrate is processed, trace proteins could remain. When in doubt, consult a dermatologist before adding new actives to your routine, especially if you're using prescription topicals (retinoids, steroids, etc.) that can lower the irritation threshold.
