This serum was designed as a gentler antioxidant option: it uses sodium ascorbyl phosphate instead of pure ascorbic acid, and retinyl palmitate instead of stronger retinoids. It also contains niacinamide and panthenol, ingredients commonly included for their soothing, balancing properties. That still does not mean it is automatically non-irritating for everyone — individual tolerance varies.
Before using it all over your face, test it on a small area such as the jawline or behind the ear and wait 24 hours. If redness, stinging or breakouts develop, stop the test and skip the serum. If the patch test is fine, introduce the product gradually: two or three evenings a week on clean, dry skin, then observe. Let the serum absorb fully before applying moisturizer, and avoid using it on the same days as other potent actives such as acids, strong vitamin C serums or retinol until you know how your skin reacts.
This serum is a cosmetic preparation intended for skin care only, not to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. If you have chronic skin conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication, ask a dermatologist or another qualified specialist before adding it.
