I have oily skin. Can I use this oil in my skincare routine and how?

Litsea Lemon essential oil is sometimes chosen in cosmetic formulations for skin and scalp that tend to become oily, as it can impart a cleaner, more balanced feel. It is not a treatment for acne or seborrhea. If you wish to incorporate it into a routine, it must always be heavily diluted in a suitable carrier oil or an unscented base product like a gel, lotion, or shampoo—typically at a rate of 1-2 drops per tablespoon of base. Its role is primarily aromatic, contributing a brisk, clarifying scent. Before full application, perform a patch test on a small area of skin (like the inner forearm) for 24 hours to check for sensitivity. Avoid using it undiluted, near the eyes, or on broken skin. This product is for external cosmetic use only; consult a dermatologist or aromatherapist for personalized advice, especially if you have reactive skin, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication.
