I have oily roots but dry, damaged ends. How should I use this shampoo without making the ends worse? — Shampoo 'Pure Line' Regulating for Oily Hair 400 ml
This shampoo is designed for hair that becomes greasy at the roots quickly, so its job is to cleanse thoroughly. To keep dry or damaged ends from feeling worse, apply it mainly to the scalp and root area, massage briefly, and let the lather travel down only as you rinse. That gives the lengths a light pass instead of a full, focused wash.
After washing, use conditioner only on the lower half of the hair, from about ear level downward, and avoid working it into the roots. This keeps moisture where the hair needs it most while preserving the fresh, clean effect at the scalp. If your ends are bleached, very porous or fragile, you can also alternate this shampoo with a gentler, more moisturising shampoo. That way you still manage oily roots regularly, but the delicate lengths are not stripped every single time.
Use warm rather than very hot water, because hot water can leave the lengths drier and make the scalp feel tight. Rinse well so no product remains on the hair. Avoid contact with the eyes, and stop use if irritation appears.
