I have fine hair — will this oil be too heavy? — MIRROLLA BURCH OIL WITH NETTLE EXTRACT 99ML (repeinoe maslo+krapiva)

Fine hair needs a lighter hand, but you do not have to skip the oil completely. The product is not a styling oil; it is meant to be washed out, so even fine hair can benefit if you use it correctly.

Before applying, take only a few drops — three to five is a reasonable starting point. Warm the oil between your palms and press it onto the scalp rather than rubbing it through the full length. The scalp is usually the area that needs the oil-based pre-wash step, and the ends can be treated afterwards with a tiny amount. Do not saturate the mid-lengths; this is the zone where fine hair most easily becomes stringy.

Because the oil is washed out, the risk of a greasy residue is lower than with a leave-in product — but thorough washing still matters. Use two lathers of shampoo if your hair feels coated, and finish with a lightweight conditioner only on the ends if your hair needs it.

If your hair is very fine, you can also shorten the leave-in time to 15–20 minutes. That is still enough for a softening effect without the oil penetrating the hair fully. After washing, notice how your scalp feels. If it feels tight or irritated after the first use, reduce the amount, reduce the frequency, or stop using it and check with a specialist.
