I have a sensitive scalp and react to honey or dairy — can I still use this?

The formula contains honey, milk proteins and fragrance — all common triggers for contact sensitivity. If you know you react to any of these, do a patch test before first use: apply a pea-sized amount to the inner forearm, cover with a plaster, and wait 24 hours. If redness, itching or swelling appears, do not use the product on your hair. Even without a known allergy, apply the mask only to the mid-lengths and ends, keeping it at least 2–3 cm away from the scalp. This limits exposure of sensitive skin to potential irritants while still treating the areas that need it most. Rinse thoroughly; any residue left near the hairline can cause irritation as it dries. If you experience stinging, burning or a rash during or after use, rinse immediately with plenty of water and discontinue. For persistent scalp conditions (eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis) or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using medicated scalp treatments, consult a dermatologist or pharmacist before introducing new hair cosmetics. The 30 ml size makes patch-testing low-commitment, but your skin’s tolerance is individual — err on the side of caution.
