How tight should the 510 - 3 knee support fit, and when should I stop wearing it?

A correct fit is important because the support only works as intended when it sits evenly around the knee. Put it on over bare skin or a thin layer, depending on comfort. Pull it up from the bottom without twisting, and make sure the center of the sleeve covers the kneecap area.

The sleeve should feel snug but not painful. You should be able to slide one finger under the edge with mild resistance. If the edges dig in, roll down, or leave deep marks, the sleeve is likely too tight. If it shifts or bunches during movement, it is likely too loose.

While wearing it, check how the knee and skin feel. Stop and remove the sleeve if you notice unpleasant pressure, pain, numbness, tingling, or increased swelling. Temporary light marks after removal are normal, but deep red or lasting marks are a sign that the fit needs to be reconsidered.

Take the sleeve off during breaks so the skin can breathe. Do not sleep in it unless a medical professional has told you to. Marked swelling, recent surgery, or circulation problems are situations where this type of product should only be used after professional advice.
