How strong is the strawberry scent? I have sensitive skin and react to some fragrances.

The scent is described as a light, pleasant touch, not a heavy perfume. Strawberry extract is in the formula both for the theme and as a source of antioxidant compounds, and banana and acai extracts are added for conditioning. Still, people react differently to fragrances, and a light scent can be enough to bother someone with very reactive skin.

If you know you are sensitive, do a small patch test before using it on your whole body. Put a little lotion on the inside of your forearm and repeat once a day for two or three days, watching for redness, itching or a burning sensation. Also skip the lotion on freshly shaved or irritated skin, sunburn or broken areas; wait until the skin feels calm.

Because no cosmetic product can promise zero irritation for everyone, stop use and rinse with water if you notice a reaction. If you have a diagnosed skin allergy or condition, check with a pharmacist or dermatologist before introducing a new fragranced product.
