Use this serum on clean skin before your moisturiser. After cleansing, apply a few drops to the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Serums are concentrated, so a thin, even layer is enough; using more does not usually improve results and may increase the chance of stickiness or irritation.
In the morning, let the serum absorb, then apply your moisturiser if you use one, followed by sunscreen. This is especially important with vitamin C products, because the skin may be more sensitive to sunlight. The serum’s light day/night texture is intended to sit under SPF and makeup, but allow each layer a short moment to settle if products tend to pill on your skin.
In the evening, use it after cleansing and before night cream or moisturiser. Night application can be helpful if you prefer to keep your daytime routine minimal, or if your skin feels more comfortable using active products when you are not immediately going outdoors.
If this is your first vitamin C serum, start gradually: for example, once daily or every other day for the first week, then increase if your skin feels comfortable. Temporary mild tingling can happen with some active cosmetics, but persistent burning, redness or discomfort is a sign to stop using it.
