How should I use this toothpaste to get the most benefit for sensitivity and whitening?

Use it like a regular toothpaste: brush twice a day, ideally morning and evening, for about two minutes. A soft-bristle brush is a better match for a low-abrasive, sensitivity-friendly paste than a medium or hard brush, which can contribute to enamel wear over time. Apply gentle pressure and let the brush do the work — scrubbing hard does not remove stains better, and it can irritate gum tissue.

One habit that makes a difference with mineral-based formulas: after brushing, spit out the excess foam but avoid rinsing your mouth thoroughly with water right away. Rinsing washes away the calcium, phosphate, and hydroxyapatite particles that have just been deposited on the tooth surface, giving them less time to settle. If rinsing is your normal habit, a small sip of water or simply spitting is less disruptive. Also, avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after brushing so the film has time to work.

Whitening from this paste is gradual. Surface stains from coffee, tea, or red wine fade with regular use over weeks, not after one or two brushings. If you drink a lot of staining beverages, you may want to brush or at least rinse your mouth afterward, and consider using a straw for very pigmented drinks to limit contact with the front teeth.

Store the tube tightly closed at room temperature. If you have a chronic condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are on medication, consult a specialist before adding any new oral care product to your routine.
