Using a solid soap bar is straightforward, but a few small habits make it work better for delicate skin.

For bath time:

• Wet the child's skin with warm, not hot, water.
• Rub the bar between your hands or on a soft washcloth to create a light lather.
• Apply the lather gently over the body, avoiding the face and eyes where possible.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Pat the skin dry with a towel rather than rubbing, especially if the skin is prone to dryness.

For hand washing:

• Wet your hands, then work the bar between your palms until a small amount of lather forms.
• Wash for about 20 seconds, including between fingers and under nails.
• Rinse well and dry with a clean towel.
