To get a good lather from this Cherry Splash shower gel, you do not need a huge amount. A small coin-sized amount is usually enough for the whole body when used correctly.
- Wet your skin with warm — not hot — water. Hot water makes the skin drier and can make the gel feel greasy or sticky.
- Squeeze the gel into your palm, a washcloth or a loofah. Working it on a washcloth or loofah creates noticeably more foam than applying it directly to wet skin.
- Massage the foam over your body, giving a little extra attention to areas where sweat lingers, such as the underarms, feet and back. There is no need to scrub hard — the surfactants do the cleansing.
- Rinse thoroughly. If you feel any slipperiness, keep rinsing for a few more seconds.
After the shower, pat the skin dry. If you use a moisturizer, apply it while skin is still slightly damp for better absorption. For the bottle itself, keep it in a dry place between uses and close the cap after every shower — water entering the bottle can dilute the product and change its texture over time.
This is a cosmetic cleanser for daily bathing, not a treatment for any skin disorder. If you are unsure about what suits your skin type or have a medical condition, a pharmacist or dermatologist can give personal advice.
