This shampoo works well in situations where the scalp feels heavy or the roots lose volume quickly, such as after workouts, in warm weather, or when styling products have built up near the scalp. Wet the hair thoroughly, apply a small amount to the scalp, and massage with your fingertips rather than nails. Focus on the hairline, crown and areas that become greasy fastest.
Rinse well, because leftover shampoo can make hair feel dull or uncomfortable. If the hair is very oily or has a lot of styling residue, a second light wash may be useful: the first wash loosens oil and residue, while the second creates a more even lather. If your hair is only mildly oily, one wash is usually enough.
Because this is a purifying-style shampoo for oily or combination hair, adjust how often you use it based on comfort. Some people with oily roots may prefer regular use, while others may use it mainly after sweating or on days when the hair looks flat near the scalp. If the lengths are dry, follow with conditioner on the ends only.
Stop use if irritation appears, and avoid contact with the eyes; if it happens, rinse thoroughly with water.
