Use the shampoo on thoroughly wet hair. Apply a small amount to the scalp first, massage with your fingertips, and let the foam move through the lengths as you rinse. For long, porous or brittle-feeling hair, it is usually better not to pile the hair on top of the head or rub the lengths aggressively, because friction can make tangling and roughness worse.
If the hair has a lot of styling product, oil or environmental buildup, a second light wash may feel better than using a large amount at once. The first wash loosens surface buildup, while the second can lather more evenly. If your hair is only lightly soiled, one wash may be enough.
After rinsing, squeeze out excess water gently rather than twisting the hair. Because this shampoo contains conditioning ingredients such as panthenol, honey extract and conditioning polymers, it can help the hair feel smoother after cleansing, but very dry, bleached, curly or porous lengths may still benefit from a conditioner or mask applied from mid-lengths to ends.
Avoid getting the product into the eyes; if this happens, rinse well with water. If your scalp is very sensitive or you often react to fragranced products or preservatives, start by monitoring your scalp’s response and stop using the shampoo if irritation appears.
