Start by thoroughly wetting your hair with warm water. Warm water helps open the hair cuticle slightly and makes it easier to remove the lather into the roots. Squeeze a small amount of the shampoo into your palm—about a coin-sized portion is usually enough for medium-length hair; adjust it for longer or thicker hair.
Massage the product into the scalp with your fingertips, using gentle circular motions. Focus on the root area, where sebum and dust usually accumulate the most. The lather running down the lengths will naturally remove dirt from the rest of the hair, so you do not need to scrub the lengths aggressively. This also helps avoid tangling.
Leave the shampoo on for a short moment—about 30 seconds to a minute—to allow the cleansing components to bind to the oils and impurities, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If your hair is very oily or you have used heavy styling products, a second application may be needed. After rinsing, you can follow with a conditioner or a leave-in product if your lengths need extra moisture, but this shampoo is a cleansing product and does not replace conditioning.
Use it as often as your routine requires. It is designed for regular washing, including after exercise or in hot weather, when the scalp tends to get oily faster. If you prefer a clean feeling without heaviness on the lengths, this type of shampoo fits that routine.
