How should I use this oil, and are there any safety precautions I should know? — Coffee essential oil 10ml – Medikomed

This oil is intended for external cosmetic use only. It is not for internal consumption. You can incorporate it into your routine by adding a few drops to an unscented cream, using it in a post-shower body blend, or mixing it into a massage oil for a more stimulating sensory effect. It can also be used in foot or hand soaks.

As with many active botanical oils, it is sensible to start gently. Perform a patch test to see how your skin responds, especially if you are sensitive to caffeine or strongly aromatic ingredients. Take extra caution before applying over large areas if you know you react to caffeine-containing products. Always avoid the eye area to prevent irritation. If you have chronic conditions, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, consult a specialist before use.
