How should I use this flat Lyapko applicator for the first time?

For the first session, choose a body area where the flat shape sits evenly, such as the upper back, lower back, neck area or legs. Place the applicator on a stable surface and gently lie or press against it so the needles contact the skin evenly. Avoid sudden full pressure at the beginning; gradually adjust your body weight or hand pressure until the sensation is strong but manageable.

A brief application is commonly used when a more stimulating effect is desired, while a longer, calmer session is typically chosen when the aim is to unwind. Because individual sensitivity varies, it is better to begin conservatively and increase the time only if the sensation remains comfortable. The normal feeling may start as sharp prickling and then shift toward warmth. If the reaction feels too intense, painful in a concerning way, or leaves irritation that worries you, stop the session.

Use the applicator on intact skin only. Do not place it over cuts, irritated patches, fresh bruises or areas where you cannot clearly feel pressure and temperature. After use, allow the skin to settle before applying strong topical products, because the area may feel more sensitive than usual. If you plan to combine it with stretching, breathing exercises or a warm shower, keep the routine simple at first so you can judge how the applicator itself feels.
