This scrub is designed for use during or after a shower, bath, or sauna, when your skin is warm and damp. The warmth and moisture help to soften the skin's surface and allow the scrub to work more effectively. Scoop a small amount into your hand—about a tablespoon for a limb—and massage it gently onto the areas you want to address. Focus on zones that often feel rough or uneven, such as elbows, knees, heels, thighs, and upper arms. Use circular motions and gentle pressure; the sea salt and coffee grounds will do the work of lifting away dead cells, so there is no need to scrub harshly. The blend will feel grainy and then may develop a warming sensation as you massage it in, due to the cinnamon and ginger. After 30-60 seconds of massage, rinse thoroughly with warm water. You will likely notice your skin feels immediately smoother and cleaner to the touch without a heavy oily film, as the grapeseed oil rinses away relatively cleanly. Pat your skin dry and follow with your regular body lotion, cream, or oil, which will be absorbed more effectively by the newly exfoliated surface. For optimal results, use 1-2 times per week.
