Wet your hands or body with warm water, then rub the bar directly between your palms or glide it over a washcloth to build a lather. Work the lather over the skin for a few seconds, paying attention to areas that collect sweat and odor, then rinse thoroughly with water. One or two passes with the bar are usually enough; because it is a solid soap, dosing is easy to control and there is no risk of spilling liquid soap.
For body washing, you can use the bar on its own or with a loofah or washcloth if you prefer more foam. Avoid dragging the bar over your skin while it is very wet and soft, as it will dissolve faster. After use, place the bar on a draining soap dish rather than leaving it in a puddle of water. This keeps it firm and makes it last longer.
The formula contains glycerin, which helps reduce the tight feeling some soaps leave behind by attracting and holding moisture on the skin's surface. That can be helpful if you wash your hands several times a day. Still, soap is a cleanser, not a moisturizer, so if your skin feels dry after washing, pat it dry and apply a regular moisturizer. If you notice persistent dryness or irritation, reduce how often you use the soap or switch to a milder, fragrance-free cleanser.
