How should I use this bar for handwashing, in the shower and in the bath?

You can use this bar anywhere you would use a solid cleansing soap. The product description lists three typical spots: by the sink for everyday handwashing, in the shower as part of regular body washing, and in the bath when you want a softer, creamier foam.

For handwashing, wet your hands, rub the bar between your palms or across the skin until a lather forms, wash for about 20 seconds — covering the backs of the hands, between the fingers and under the nails — then rinse thoroughly. For the body, work the lather up in your hands, on a washcloth or with a loofah, apply to damp skin and rinse off completely. In the bath, glide the bar directly over the skin or swirl it in your hands to build up the creamy foam before washing.

A few practical points: avoid contact with the eyes, and rinse all lather off the skin. Because it is a cream soap, the bar softens if it sits in water, so keep it on a draining soap dish rather than leaving it in a puddle on the sink or shower floor. If you use it in the bath, take it out of the water between uses. A few passes of the bar are usually enough to build a good lather — using more does not clean better and only wears the bar down faster.
