Start with a clean face because oil and leftover skincare products reduce grip. Wash your nose with a gentle cleanser, rinse well, and pat it dry leaving the skin slightly damp. A thoroughly wet nose can make the strip slide, while a dry one can make it stick unevenly. Slightly damp is the balance the product was designed for.
Apply the strip firmly over the nose and press it along the bridge and sides so it contacts the skin evenly. Avoid stretching the skin while pressing. Wait until the strip dries completely – usually 10 to 15 minutes depending on humidity, but follow the timing given on the package. If you remove it too early, it will not pull out much; if you leave it on for much longer than recommended, it can become overly tight.
For removal, start at an edge and peel slowly, supporting the skin with one hand. Pull in a gentle upward direction rather than ripping it off fast. If a section feels strongly attached, hold the skin near it and loosen the edge first; never yank. After removal, rinse the nose with lukewarm water to wash away loosened material, then apply a light moisturizer. The skin has just been through a peel-off process, so a cream helps calm it.
This is an occasional step, not a daily one. Using it too often can irritate the nose, especially if your skin is dry or reactive. If the nose feels sore or red after use, pause and let the skin recover before using the product again.
