The fixing balm included in the box is designed for immediate use after the color is rinsed out. Once you have washed the color from your hair until the water runs clear, squeeze out excess water and apply the balm evenly from roots to ends. The keratin (a structural hair protein) and vitamins in the formula work on the freshly processed hair while the cuticle is still slightly open — this helps the strands feel smoother, stronger, and more aligned, which translates to better light reflection and a more saturated color appearance.
Leave the balm on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, which can re-open the cuticle and accelerate fading. For the first 48 hours after coloring, try not to wash your hair at all — this gives the pigment time to fully oxidize and stabilize inside the hair shaft.
Ongoing care: use a sulfate-free shampoo and a conditioner for color-treated hair to preserve the aubergine reflect. The rice protein in the colorant itself forms a light film that helps pigments adhere; gentle cleansing protects that film. Limit heat styling and use a heat protectant when you do — high heat fades fashion tones faster than natural shades.
