Use this product as a targeted cleansing step rather than a leave-on treatment. A practical routine is to wash your face first, dry it gently, then apply a small amount of solution to a cotton pad and wipe it over the areas that need attention — typically the T-zone or visibly congested spots. Do not pour it directly onto your face, and do not use it as a full-face toner if your skin is prone to dryness or sensitivity.
Because the formula contains an alcohol base with a strong degreasing effect, start slowly. Applying it once a day or every other day is enough to see how your skin reacts; if it feels comfortable, you can gradually increase to twice daily in the oily areas, but not if you notice tightness, peeling, or redness. Always follow with a suitable moisturiser to keep the skin balanced, especially when the alcohol leaves the surface feeling dry.
Keep the product away from the eye area and from broken or irritated skin. If you feel strong stinging, see redness, or develop peeling, reduce the frequency or stop using it and let your skin recover. A patch test on your jawline or behind the ear before the first full use is a reasonable precaution, particularly if you have sensitive skin. As with any cosmetic, if you have a chronic skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are using prescription skincare, ask a specialist before introducing it.
