How should I store the pack, how long do the wipes stay moist after opening, and what's the right way to dispose of them?

To keep the wipes moist and effective, store the pack at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heat sources (like a car dashboard in summer), and freezing conditions. The resealable label or flap should be pressed firmly closed after each use — any gap lets moisture evaporate, and the wipes can dry out within days if the seal isn't tight. In a typical indoor environment (around 20–22°C, moderate humidity), a properly resealed 15-piece pack stays usable for several weeks; in a hot car or near a heater, they may dry out in a week or less. If the wipes feel dry or the lotion has separated, discard the pack — dried wipes won't clean effectively and may leave residue.

Regarding disposal: these are single-use wet wipes made of non-woven fabric soaked in lotion. They are not flushable, even if some packaging claims "flushable" for similar products. Most municipal sewage systems and septic tanks cannot break down wet-wipe fibres, which contribute to fatbergs and blockages. Always dispose of used wipes in a waste bin. If you're outdoors without a bin (hiking, festival), carry a small zip-lock bag to pack them out — leave no trace.

The pack itself (plastic film and resealable label) should be separated for recycling where local facilities accept soft plastics; check your municipal guidelines. The wipes are not compostable or biodegradable in home compost — the non-woven material typically contains synthetic fibres (polyester/polypropylene blend) that persist in the environment. If sustainability is a priority, consider carrying a small refillable spray bottle with a gentle cleanser and a reusable cloth for day-to-day use, reserving the wipes for true no-water situations.
