How should I store the jam after opening?

Like most jams, this product should be stored in the refrigerator after opening to maintain its quality and prevent spoilage. The high sugar content helps preserve it, but refrigeration slows down any microbial growth. Always keep the lid tightly closed when not in use.

Use a clean, dry spoon each time you take jam out. Introducing moisture or food particles can cause mould to develop. If you notice any signs of mould, off odour, or an unusual texture, discard the jam. The jam may thicken or become more syrupy when cold, which is normal. You can let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to make it easier to spread.

Unopened, the jam has a long shelf life, but always check the best-before date on the label. After opening, it is best to consume it within a few weeks to enjoy the full flavour and texture. If you store it properly, it should remain safe and tasty for that period.
