Always dilute Mirrolla Pine Essential Oil before it touches the skin, because the pure concentrate can cause irritation. A common starting point is a 1–2 % dilution, which means adding roughly 5–10 drops of the oil to every 10 ml of a neutral carrier such as sweet almond, jojoba or fractionated coconut oil. Mix the drops into the carrier in a small glass bottle, shake gently, and label the blend with the date.
Before applying the diluted blend more widely, do a patch test: place a tiny amount on the inner forearm or behind the ear, wait 15–30 minutes, and check for any redness, itching or warmth. If the skin reacts, further dilute the oil or discontinue use. Only proceed to larger areas when the test site shows no irritation.
Once the patch test is clear, you can use the blend in several ways. For a massage, work a small amount into the skin using slow, circular motions on areas that feel tense or tired. To create an invigorating bath, add 5–10 drops of the diluted oil (or the equivalent amount of pure oil if you prefer to mix it directly with bath salts or a dispersant) to warm water and stir before entering. For hair care, combine a few drops of the diluted oil with your regular conditioner or a light hair mask, apply to damp lengths and ends, leave for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Store the pure essential oil in its original amber glass bottle, tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. A cool, dark cupboard helps preserve the volatile aromatic compounds for up to two years. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or considering use on a child, consult a qualified professional before applying the oil to the skin.
