How should I care for this toothbrush and when should I replace it?

Like any manual toothbrush, the 32 Pearls Intense Pro works best when it is kept clean and replaced before the bristles wear out. After brushing, rinse the head thoroughly with water to remove toothpaste and debris. Shake off excess water and store the brush upright so it can air-dry. Avoid keeping it in a closed case while it is still wet, since a damp environment encourages bacteria to grow.

The most obvious sign that it is time for a new brush is when the bristles start to splay outward. Once they spread, they do not return to their original position and cleaning becomes less effective. This happens eventually with regular use; the exact lifespan depends on how much pressure you apply and how often you brush. As a general rule, a manual toothbrush is typically replaced every three months, or sooner if the bristles become bent or worn. You should also replace it after recovering from a cold or other illness, since the bristles can carry bacteria.

Because this brush has rubber elements and a flexible neck, check those parts as well. If the rubber strips become frayed or the neck loses its spring and simply bends permanently, it is time to get a new one. A damaged brush is not a substitute for a balanced oral hygiene routine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
