How should I care for the stone keyholder so it stays in good condition?

Shungite is a natural stone, and like most stone items, this keyholder can chip or crack if it hits a hard surface. Avoid throwing it onto tables or dropping it on floors. The same care applies when it is attached to a bag or backpack: bumping against walls or door frames may damage the stone.

To clean it, wipe the polished surface with a soft, dry cloth. If more thorough cleaning is needed, use a lightly dampened cloth and dry it completely afterwards. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemical solvents, ultrasonic jewellery cleaners, and prolonged soaking in water. Also avoid exposing it to extreme heat or sudden temperature changes, which could affect any natural stone.

Store it in a place that is out of reach of small children. This is important both because the stone could break into sharp pieces if dropped and because small parts may be a choking hazard. When you are not carrying it, keep it in a soft pouch or in a separate pocket of your bag so it does not get scratched by keys or metal objects.

The key ring part is ordinary metal; it can be wiped with a dry cloth if it collects dust or fingerprints. With basic care, the keyholder will stay presentable for a long time.
