For a balanced taste, heat water to 90–95 °C (just below boiling). Place 1–2 g of the loose leaves into a teapot or cup, then pour the hot water over them. Let the tea steep for 3–5 minutes; a shorter time yields a lighter, sweeter brew, while a longer steep releases more tannins, giving a slightly astringent finish. If you prefer a stronger infusion, add a few extra grams of leaves or extend the steeping time by a minute or two. Conversely, for a milder cup, reduce the leaf quantity or steep for a shorter period. After steeping, strain the leaves and enjoy the tea hot or allow it to cool for a refreshing iced version. If you like a touch of sweetness, add a natural sweetener such as honey or a slice of lemon, but note that the product itself contains no added flavours. The wild strawberry leaf’s subtle tannins provide a gentle, soothing character that pairs well with quiet evenings or relaxed moments. Consult a specialist before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication.
