How should I brew and serve this tea?

Brewing is straightforward. Use one tea bag or the amount recommended on the package (follow the label instructions for portion size), pour freshly boiled water over it, and let it steep for the time indicated on the packaging. If you are serving it to a young child, allow it to cool to a comfortable drinking temperature first. The tea can be served warm on colder days, or cooled to room temperature after outdoor play or during warmer weather.

Because of the natural berry flavour, most children find it palatable without sugar or honey. If you do choose to sweeten it, do so sparingly and keep in mind that adding sugar turns it from a light tea into a sweet drink.

The blend is convenient for taking to school or on trips: prepare it in the morning, pour it into a thermos, and it will still be warm at lunchtime. Alternatively, let it cool and use it as a refreshing non-sweet beverage. The longer it steeps, the stronger the taste will be, so adjust the steeping time or the amount of water to suit your child's preference.
