How should I apply this cooling balm safely?

Apply a small amount of the balm to clean, dry, intact skin over the area that feels tired or overheated, then massage it in gently until absorbed. Because the formula is light and non-oily, it should spread easily without needing heavy rubbing. Start modestly: cooling ingredients such as menthol and camphor can feel stronger than expected, especially on sensitive skin or after a hot shower.

Use it on body areas such as calves, shoulders, knees or lower back, but do not apply it to broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin. Keep it away from the eyes, lips, intimate areas and other mucous membranes. Wash your hands after application unless your hands are the area being treated, because accidental contact with the eyes can cause an unpleasant cooling or stinging sensation.

Avoid applying it under tight occlusive wraps or layering it with strongly warming balms on the same area, as this can make the skin sensation too intense. If redness, burning, itching or irritation appears, stop using it and rinse the area with water. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, choosing it for a child, or have a skin condition, check suitability with a qualified professional before use.
