Use the cream-balm on clean, dry, intact skin of the legs or areas of muscle tiredness. Apply a small amount and massage it in with gentle upward or circular movements until the skin feels evenly covered. Massage can make application more comfortable and helps spread the emollient base, while the menthol, peppermint and fir oils provide a fresh cooling feel shortly after use.
Because the product contains essential oils and menthol, avoid applying it to irritated, damaged or freshly shaved skin, and keep it away from the eyes, mucous membranes and sensitive intimate areas. Wash your hands after application unless you are treating your hands, because menthol residue can feel unpleasant if transferred to the eyes. If you are using it before getting dressed, allow a little time for the petrolatum, glycerin and vegetable oil base to settle on the skin, as richer balms can leave a protective film.
If you have sensitive skin, try a small amount on a limited area first and wait to see how your skin reacts. Stop use if strong burning, rash or persistent irritation occurs. Consult a specialist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have chronic skin or circulation-related concerns.
