Start with clean, towel-dried hair. The cream texture spreads more easily than powder, so you can apply it directly to damp or dry hair depending on your preference. Work the product through from mid-length to ends, avoiding the roots if your scalp tends to get oily. If you want scalp benefits from the burdock oil, you can apply sparingly near the roots, but focus the majority on the lengths where brittleness typically occurs. Once applied, comb through gently to ensure even distribution. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes at room temperature; unlike traditional henna, there is no need for heat or extended processing time. For deeper conditioning, you can leave it on up to an hour, but longer contact does not necessarily mean better results. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then follow with your regular conditioner if needed. The product does not require mixing with liquids or preparing in advance, which makes it practical for routine use.
