Use this cream in the evening on clean skin, after cleansing and any lightweight water-based products you normally use. A toner or serum, if part of your routine, would usually go before the cream; the cream then helps add comfort with humectants and emollients. Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and betaine help bind water, while shea butter and plant oils help soften the skin and reduce moisture loss overnight.
Apply a small amount over the face and spread it gently without rubbing aggressively. Combination skin often does better with a lighter layer on oilier areas and a slightly more generous amount on drier cheeks or areas that feel tight after washing. Because it is a night cream, it is most useful when the skin has several hours to absorb and feel more comfortable by morning.
Avoid applying it very close to the eyes unless you already know your skin tolerates the product there, as the eye area can be more reactive. If you use exfoliating acids, retinoids, or other strong active products in the same routine, introduce combinations gradually and reduce frequency if stinging, redness, or discomfort appears.
